Kelly Colson, M.S., PT

I have always had a deep passion for working with children and helping them overcome challenges to reach their full potential. As a pediatric physical therapist with 16 years of experience in the Lexington area, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of settings, including: outpatient clinics, home health, early intervention, and school-based therapy. My experience spans treating children of all ages, though I have a particular passion for working with children from birth to age 5.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with a variety of diagnoses, such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, hypotonia, hypertonia, Rett syndrome, and more. My goal is always to provide personalized care that meets each child’s unique needs and helps them thrive in their daily activities.
I enjoy being an advocate for children and families to help them achieve their goals and utilize all resources available to them!

When I’m not working with my pediatric patients, I love spending time with my family, including my husband and two children. We stay busy attending youth sporting events and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking. We’re also big fans of cheering on the Wildcats —Go Cats!
